Any Recommendations?

I'm very excited to be taking a trip to Paris and Normandy in a few months and I'd appreciate your recommendations on your favorite books set in France-- whether it's historical fiction, memoir, travelogue, etc. I love to read about and get the feel of a place before I go. Merci beaucoup!

    Oh what fun! The first two books that came to mind were The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy and Scaramouche by Rafael Sabatini...old classics. :)

    Thanks Ruth! I read the Scarlet Pimpernel 3 or 4 years ago but it's definitely time for a re-read, and I've never read Scaramouche!
